Patty Kaplan Medical Complications

For almost three and a half years, Patty has been a loved and valuable member of the Rite Way family. She is a powerhouse of a woman, her bigger-than-life presence allowing her to share her passion for home comfort with everyone around her. She has built strong relationships with her teammates and those she meets at Costco where she’s stationed, customers and staff alike. Patty is always there to give a helping hand or an encouraging word for those who are in need. Whenever Patty is out of work, she is greatly missed.

Cancer has been wreaking havoc on her body for the last few years. She is a feisty lady who always keeps a positive outlook and is determined to overcome all the obstacles she faces and has done so!

Sadly, she is struggling again, this time with complications from previous surgeries leaving scar tissue in her intestines. This infection is sapping her energy and making her very sick. She was just recently released from a weeklong stay in the hospital. Consequently, that means that she has not been able to work. With no work and no disability yet, medical bills, living expenses, and food are hard to cover.
