Patty Mills Home Care

Hi, my name is Joni and this picture is of my very good friend Patty with my great neice.  Patty had a massive stroke July 18, 2016.  She was paralyzed on her left side but her mind is 100% intact which is the good thing. Patty was living with her elderly mother to help take of her.  Patty spent six weeks at a Rehab center and was sent home as insurance would not pay anymore.  She is not capable of taking care of herself, she can't stand on her own, walk, use the bathroom, get in and out of bed.  For the last six weeks she was paying for aides to come in during the day to help her but the money ran out so she had to rely on her elderly mother.  Her mom was helping her wash off and she fell and broke her hip.  The ball of the hip was shattered so she had hip replacement surgery Monday the 17th of October.  She is now back in rehab but does not know how long insurance will let her stay there.  She is worried sick about being sent home with no way to pay for an aide to come in and help her.  Patty is strong woman and is not giving up but she needs help.  Her small family and I are doing everything we can but now I am asking for my friends and family to help.  I want her to know she can go home and be able to pay for an aide to come in and keep her from falling again.  They are basically living on her mom's social security right now.  I would be so thankful to anyone that can donate to this campaign, any amount would be very appreciated and the peace of mind it would give Patty and her mom not to have to worry about her care and concentrate on her recovery is my ultimate goal.
