Patty's Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer
Donation protected
Shortly after being diagnosed with what appeared to be a basic illness, Patty went back to work pushing through the pain. She called her fiancé during her break and even told him she was on a roll. Everything seemed fine at that point in time. An hour later, he received another call; Patty was in the emergency room. They moved back and forth between hospitals for several days seeking the source of Patty’s pain. Finally, they had an answer - pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
With an estimated diagnosis rate of 1 in 64 people, pancreatic adenocarcinoma is one of the top five most aggressive forms of cancer. Additionally, there are no routine screenings for it and due to its location in the body it is extremely hard to find early on. Patty Danna ended up being that 1 out of 64. Regardless of her recent diagnosis of this violent form of cancer, Patty maintains her cheerful attitude, radiating positivity, and determination to prevail.
Patty is a loving and genuine person that has never hesitated to extend her arm out to help a stranger. She is a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to many with the personality of an encapsulated ray of sunshine. No matter what, her radiating positivity does not diminish by the challenges she is faced with. Her dedication and enthusiasm to persevere remain fully intact even after multiple paracentesis, chemotherapy, and several other medical procedures. Even through these difficult times, Patty starts and ends every day with the brightest smile.
During this difficult time, we are humbly seeking support from those that can provide it. Our goal is to provide the best care possible to battle this aggressive type of cancer.
Every donation received will be contributed to the accrued expenses relative of her diagnosis. If you are unable to donate, we just ask that you share this campaign and keep Patty in your prayers. All financial support and prayers for Patty mean the world to her and her family during this difficult time.
