This Gofundme Campaign is for our dear friend and neighbour, Patty.
Patty is a very capable, creative person that has faced many (unnecessary) challenges throughout her life due to her inability to walk. This basic everyday task that we all take for granted was taken away from her on October 11th 2007, when she lost her right leg just above the knee, to melanoma (skin cancer).
Patty is now approaching her 9th year of being trapped in crutches or in a wheelchair. We are happy to report that she is also approaching her 4th year of remission. Patty is now cancer free, and we strongly believe that NOW is her time to break free of the barriers she still faces and finally get that leg she deserves.
