Paul and Leanne’s fight

Please help this beautiful family as husband and wife, Paul and Leanne, we’re both diagnosed with cancer within a year of eachother. Only months after surviving breast cancer Leanne has now been diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Lee has been my best friend for more than 35 years. Her and Paul were high school sweethearts and worked hard to build a wonderful life together with their two gorgeous daughters.

In late 2021 we were shocked when Leanne was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She very quickly started treatment including chemotherapy and radiation and eventually had a double mastectomy.

After a long hard fight, with amazing strength, courage and determination she beat it.

Then approximately 3 months ago whilst she was still recovering and finally starting to get back to their normal lives they were thrown into turmoil again when Paul suddenly fell very ill. Within just a few days he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia and is currently still in hospital undergoing treatment in the fight of his life. He is up to his fourth round of chemo in three months. He has two more to go then will require a bone marrow transplant which will mean over a month in hospital.

Less than a week ago, just as we thought things couldn’t get any worse we were devastated to find out Leanne has a brain tumour. She is about to undergo surgery and find out how this will affect her future.

So now the girls have both of their parents in different hospitals fighting for their lives, having to navigate this sometimes cruel world with the help of family and friends.

We don’t know how this story ends but I’d like to offer a helping hand to ease some of the financial burden as neither can work right now and they have used up everything taking care of eachother. Hopefully then they can focus on healing.
