Paul And Tiny Ray's Crazy Crocus Marathon Journey
This time last year I was still getting over 4 months of chemo and a number of wee operations to remove bad bits when my imaginary friend , Tiny Ray, said "Let's run in the Dublin City Marathon next year ?"
I asked why and he answered "Sure what else would we be doing ?"
I had no answer to that...so here we are.
I am stage 4, but feel great and am incredibly fortunate to have received the incredible care I have in Beaumont Hospital from the force of nature that is Dilly Little. And here in Monaghan, the True Centre Of The Universe, I was cajoled into going to Crocus by Martin Maguire, and I have found great comfort and camararderie there...not to mention the wonders of reflexology from the divine Edel.
So I thought the least I could do would be to use our crazy marathon adventure to raise some funds for the AMAZING Crocus Cancer Support Centre and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
