In memory of Paul Black

As many of you know, our dear friend Paul Black passed away on Friday, September 15th at the age of 56. He left behind the love of his life, Stephani Beslin Black, to whom he was married for 17 years. After working hard to establish themselves in Gulfport, MS; Paul & Steph purchased a home in April of this year. It goes without saying, that they purchased their home with the belief that they would have two income streams to make the mortgage payments. Steph will be receiving the proceeds from Paul's life insurance policy. However, the bills still need to be paid in the meantime. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help Paul's widow through the immediate future. There is the obvious need to pay for Paul's cremation and funeral service. Additionally, it will take time for Steph to process her grief before she is able to return to work. Steph's sister will be moving in with her next year to help pay the household bills. We just need to help her get through the next few months. It is what Paul would want. Please think of all those times he came over to your house to fix something, or those times he worked on your car without asking for anything in return. Now is the opportunity to show your gratitude in a tangible way.

For those of you who do not know me, Paul was a dear friend of mine for 30 years. We both grew up in the Colorado Springs area. While we did not know each other then, we learned that we had been in the same place, at the same time, on multiple occasions. I encourage those of you who do not know me to reach out to Stephani so she can verify that I am managing this fund on her behalf.

For those of you who never had the opportunity to meet Steph, just think about Paul. He would (and often did) do anything for any of us. This is your opportunity to help Paul, by helping Steph through this difficult time.
