Paul Briggs Stage 4 Cancer Fund

Like many people, 2020 was not a great year for our brother-in-law Paul Briggs and his family. After losing his long term job on the slope due to COVID-19, he began feeling very sick. In October Paul was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. The oncologist started radiation to help shrink the large tumors located in his back hoping to relieve some of the pain. Paul is currently getting Chemo for the rectal cancer but it has spread to his kidneys, liver and bones. Even though he was told the cancer is incurable, the doctors are hoping it will give him a few more months. Paul is in a great deal of pain and requires help 24 hours a day just to get to the bathroom. He has a positive attitude and is trying to get through whatever time he has left in as little of pain as possible and with as many smiles as possible!  His wife, Trudy is working as much as she can, but has had to cut her work hours to take care of Paul and take him to appointments for blood transfusions, iron infusions anately and Chemo.

Trudy has a minimum wage job which does not have benefits. They are feeling the overwhelming burden of trying to make their house payments and household bills on a small one person income but it is getting nearly impossible and certainly very overwhelming to keep up. If you can possibly help out in any way financially, they would humbly appreciate every donation made. They are also asking for all the prayers they can get and to please share this campaign with as many friends and family as you can. All donations will help relieve the immense pressure building up on this family, while hopefully allowing them to TRY and find even a little lightness in their lives!  

Trudy and Paul have always helped other people in the community who are in need and it’s our hope that they can now get some help for themselves. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!  May 2021 bless us and give us all hope for a better year!
