Paul Burri Life & Legacy "Living" Memorial

We said our final goodbyes to Paul at dawn on Thursday, Aug 3.

His gentleness, wit, humor, boundless energy, superhuman endurance, musical talent, artistic creativity, passion for swimming and biking and all things technology, commitment to God and unparalleled love for family are deeply missed.

Paul lived a huge, rich, productive life that deeply blessed SO many. But the last year of it was rough as we watched him labor heroically against the brutality of esophageal cancer. Thankfully, one horrendous year can't and won't overshadow the light that Paul carried every day, everywhere for the other 67.

Forever in awe of his strength as he worked so hard to stay with us, we choose to remember, celebrate and give thanks for those 67.

Please join Robin, Julia, James, Jordan, Whitney, Holly, James, Xander and me as we celebrate his life, mourn his loss, and do everything we can to carry on his legacy.

In lieu of flowers, consider helping us plant lasting reminders of Paul's indelible blessing on our lives. We've created this "living memorial" fund for the purchase, planting and care of some of Paul's favorite trees and perennials that will last for years — and hopefully generations — to come.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., in Canandaigua. A family celebration of Paul's life will be held privately at a later date.
