This is something that is hard to write. My dad's death is still fresh and I know this grieving process is going to be my whole life. My dad was the most important person in my life and I can't believe I now have to live without him. Im 18, just about to start college. I imagined him helping me move in and visiting on weekends. Seeing me graduate and maybe walking down the aisle in the future. It's hard to think he will not be here for all of that.

My dad though, was and is such an amazing man, friend, son, brother and father. Every person and family member that I have talked to has said how great he is. How important he was to them. He took care of everyone in his life. He always took care of my mom and I, and our family. No matter divorce, my mom and him remained close friends. No matter how far someone was, he took every opportunity to care for others and spend time with his loved ones. He was such a genuine person, and always brought smiles to faces. Especially mine.

Making people laugh and always wanting to play Azul at family gatherings. Being goofy and pretending his car is the bat mobile. Taking me to the zoo my entire life. A great dog dad, of which his "little buddy" and work buddy will miss him greatly.

His heart was so big and full of love for everyone in his life. He truly cared for each and every person. Even people who really didn't know him that well or only met him a few times have lasting impressions of him...

One of the best summations came from one of my closest friends..."he was a very giving man and always made sure to care for those around him, he also had the warmest of energy. You're incredibly lucky that you got to call him dad, he loved you so much!"

I truly the luckiest daughter to have had such an amazing and loving father. This world was so blessed to have him in it.
