Paul Caplin's Memorial Service Support

It is with deep regret and sadness that I post on his page that my father Paul Caplin passed away at 12:15 am this morning in his sleep.
He lived to be 70, surrounded by many friends and family who provided constant love and support. 45 of those years were spent happily married to his wonderfully loving wife Terri, and loved by their three children Alyssa, Evan, and Benjamin.
The last few years have been tough for him physically and emotionally. We are relieved he is no longer in any pain. He was brilliant, kind, understanding, patient and warm. We will strive to have his legacy live on. He was the purest example of a remarkable human being. He is loved and will be forever missed.
He taught for over 30 years as a music teacher, touching and enriching the lives of thousands of people, even being able to teach multiple generations of the same family. He would tell us stories of how every year was a new experience and no two performances were the same, and how much fun he had organizing and bonding with his stage crews. He was forced to retire early, and was therefore given a much smaller Pension Plan than he expected.
He struggled with many health problems the last few years of his life such as battling Cancer, having several surgeries including Spinal surgery, a Kidney transplant, and a Triple Bypass, finding strength to endure through them. His health took a sudden decline in the past few months and his passing took many of us by surprise.
We, his family, ask for any aid that can be given to assist in covering Funeral Services and his Headstone. All help is greatly appreciated but is absolutely optional, and all we can truly ask for is well wishes, and loving memories of a truly one-of-a-kind man that will always continue to inspire.
