Together with The Foundation, we're planning The Second Annual Paul Chaney Fitness Fundraiser to benefit P.A.W.S. (Protective Animal Welfare Society). This event will spotlight all of Paul’s favorite things: his love of friends, family, fitness, and Alice, the dog who owned his heart. Your participation in this event keeps Paul's legacy of hope and possibility alive.

Over the past months, we've been blessed with countless stories of how Paul not only showed up for others, he helped them create positive change in their lives. As we considered how best to honor Paul's heart and energy, P.A.W.S. felt like a perfect fit. For years, our family has supported this organization through their doggie daycare and boarding service which funds their 501c3 rescue program. The staff and volunteers of PAWS work tirelessly to keep the mission of canine rescue and recovery into a no-kill shelter possible. Thus changing the lives of not only the beautiful canine souls rescued but the individuals and families who receive their unconditional love.

In the name of transparency, we want you to know how your dollars were spent. Altogether, the 2022 PCFF raised $27,600, allowing PAWS to continue its mission of providing a no-kill rescue shelter.

Please know these funds had an immediate impact on the lives of our four-legged friends. One week after the 2022 PCFF event, PAWS was able to rescue 11 dogs that were on the list to be euthanized at a local facility. This included a German Shepard mix that PAWS affectionately named Paulie, and his furever family elected to keep this name once they heard our story. Additionally, the 2022 PCFF directly impacted 49 new rescue dogs and the placement of 37 dogs in their furever homes. Plus, $13,756.31 has been paid in Vet Bills for procedures including 45 spay/neuters, bladder stone removal, hernia repair, tumor removals and so, so much more.

Truly, every dollar raised made a difference in the life of a dog, their forever home, and allows KC PAWS to carry out its mission.

From P.A.W.S.:
We're raising money to benefit Protective Animal Welfare Society (P.A.W.S.), and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause which means so much to me.

More information about Protective Animal Welfare Society (P.A.W.S.): We are an organization that works almost exclusively with animals who are the victim of cruelty and/or neglect. We work to not only rehabilitate our own dogs and cats but also help rehabilitate dogs for other rescue groups in our area to help them become more adoptable. We also facilitate a food bank program that gets much needed cat and dog food out to other small rescue groups within a 4 State region to allow them to free up their finances so they are able to help even more dogs and cats in need.
