Family and Friends,

On behalf of the family, I want to thank you for your continued love, boundless support, and fervent prayers for our loved one Paul David De la Cruz.

This past weekend, Paul went home to be with his loving Savior Jesus Christ. There are no words to describe the void that is now left within all of our lives. However, thank God that we have a loving Savior.

Paul’s favorite song was/is Reckless Love by Cory Asbury. The chorus of this song says: “Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God. Oh, it chases me down, fights 'til I'm found, leaves the ninety-nine. I couldn't earn it, and I don't deserve it, still, You give Yourself away

Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God…”

It was this love, this love that can only be found in Jesus, that wrapped Paul in His arms and took him home. A home where there is no more pain, no more hurt, and no more suffering. His body is restored and now he is experiencing that love that he sang about, a love that we cannot even imagine.

As a family, we ask for your continued prayers and support during this very difficult season of life that we are walking through together. Furthermore, if you find it in your heart to donate towards the expenses of the funeral, it would be greatly appreciated.
