Help Paul Jenne Beat Cancer!

The Alaskan Bar staff have started this GoFundMe to help our long-time and good friend Paul defeat Stage 4C Thyroid Cancer. We are hoping to gather together as a community to relieve the pressure of medical and monthly bills, especially around the holidays!

Paul arrived in Juneau in 2007 to "get his life back." When he arrived in Juneau, he found the warmth and community he so dearly needed at the time, working at the Silverbow and the Alaskan. Having been diagnosed in May of 2022, Paul went to Anchorage for radiation treatment but returned to Juneau to complete his chemo-immunotherapy and, as his doctor says, "kick this can down the road."

Paul was a resident of the Alaskan Hotel for 7 years and has worked at both the front desk and in the bar. He now lives in his own apartment but is still our close friend and a part of our bar and hotel family. He is currently unable to return to work until further down the road to recovery. Please help us help him beat cancer and pay his bills comfortably and surrounded by love!

I will keep this going through the month, share it during our Thanksgiving dinner at the Alaskan (at which he will be present!) and pass the proceeds on to him on December 1st!
