In Memory of Paul J Kludac
Donation protected
In memory of Paul, we have created this fundraiser to support their family during this difficult time. Paul tragically took his own life after suffering from PTSD, leaving behind a devastated family who is struggling to cope with the loss.
We ask for your help to provide financial support to Paul's family during this challenging period. The funds raised will be used to cover funeral expenses, counseling services, and other costs that have arisen as a result of this tragedy.
The family is in need of your support, and any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact. Paul was a kind and loving person who touched the lives of many, and we hope that you will join us in honoring his memory by donating to this fund.
Suicide can have a devastating impact on those left behind, and it is important that we come together to offer our support to Paul's family. Your donation will help to ease the financial burden on the family, allowing them to focus on grieving and healing.
We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone, and we appreciate any support that you can offer. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in the lives of Jenny and Karter and will help to ensure that Paul’s memory is honored in a meaningful way.
Please donate to this fund to support Paul’s family during this heartbreaking time. Let's come together to show our love and support to those who need it most.
Paul Joseph Kludac, 43, of Lockport, Illinois passed away on April 19, 2023. He was born on May 21, 1979, to Jeanette Schuler Kludac and the late Gregory A. Kludac (Phyllis Ragsdell). He attended St. Mary of Gostyn grade school, Downers Grove South High School class of 1997, College of DuPage where he earned his associate's degree in Business and Benedictine University. Paul was pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business when he got called to active duty in the United States Marine Corps. He served in Iraq and was honorably discharged as a Corporal. He married the love of his life Jennifer Pryzbyla Kludac on August 27, 2011. The wedding was known as “The Royal Wedding.” Paul was the owner and founder of the Detail Kings which was established in his mom’s garage and then expanded to two locations in Downers Grove. He was a realtor for Platinum Partners Realtors. He served on the Chamber 630 Board of Directors for 3 years and won the Choice Award for Business Excellence. He served as the President of LODGE, Leads the Organization of Downers Grove Executives and has been a member since he started his business. He enjoyed coaching his son Karter’s soccer, basketball, football, and baseball programs at Nazarene and for the city of Lockport. He was also a Cub Scout Leader for Karter’s Den. Paulie loved life and was blessed with so many friends.
Paul had a smile that lit up a room. His laugh was like no other. He was always willing to give a big hug and offer the shirt off his back…and he had LOTS of shirts! His ringtone was known by everyone. If you had a birthday, you were greeted with pictures and a birthday message that was posted before you woke up. He was the one who filled the vodka bottles with water and would have huge parties when Mom would go to Bunco. He was known to work hard so he could play harder. He would fall asleep while playing a vicious game of Phase 10 but never missed a turn. He was the biggest Metallica fan EVER and had many tattoos, posters, and dolls, or as Paul referred to them as “action figures” to prove it. He traveled everywhere and never met a stranger. He loved discounts, and Amazon and Grunt Style stock is sure to be affected by his loss.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Jenny of 12 years and proud dad of Karter James, age 7, mom Jeanette Schuler Kludac, step-mom Phyllis (Ragsdell) Kludac, sister, Pam Kludac-Konte (Cindy) and brother, Patrick Kludac (Katie Bradley), Godfather to both Faith Pietras and his niece Avery Grace Kludac.
