Paul Maples recovery

Hi yall this is Jayson Maples, I have started this page for my brother Paul Maples. My older brother has been very active and just enjoying life until this last Tuesday while at work he had a heart attack falling backwards striking his head on a marble slab counter.

He basically "died", a police officer happend to be on the job site, acting fast along side an EMT they used chest compression and rescue breaths to get him going until paramedics arrived. He was shocked with paddles and injected with epinephrine.

Paul has been in a medically induced coma now for 6 days, yesterday we thought he was waking up but then backsliding again. We are hopeful he wakes up soon (Dr's say taking him off sedatives he will wake up by tomorrow) currently doing MRI's to see level of / if any brain damage.... Dr. says he expects Paul to be ok, but it will be a very long road ahead. Months of rehab and therapy, mixed with the Inability to be able to work and a massive amount of bills that will be stacking up will put my brother in a bad position....

Paul is going to need 24/7 assistance for an unknown amount of time, raised funds will be used to support my brothers daily needs, medication and care he will need while he is on his journey back to where he can support himself again

For those of you that know Paul you know he would be too proud to even ask for help but unfortunately it is nessasary due to what has happened. Hard to even imagine how much this will all cost so I did not even know where to begin.
