Paul (Pablo) Blas Medical Expenses
Donation protected
My brother, Pablo Blas, was in a motorcycle accident on August 13th. He was airlifted to Atrium Health-Main and immediately went in to surgery for head trauma. They relieved pressure from his brain by removing part of his skull and placing a tube for external bleeding. If the swelling stays down, they can replace the skull piece in 3-4 weeks. He is still in a medically induced coma to allow the brain to recover. He also has something in his lung that was possible aspirated during the wreck and a broken collar bone.
As of right now, the doctors are saying it could be a year to a year and a half before he is able to come home. They are expecting Pablo to have speech problems and physical issues from the wreck and the trauma his brain has suffered. His fiancé, Taylor, is staying strong during this tough time for Pablo and is appreciative of all the love and support she and Pablo have received.
With his surgery and future surgeries, hospital bills,Helicopter ride, hospital stay, anesthesia, missing work for both him and his fiancé, travel to and from the hospital, purchasing food at the hospital and other bills, any financial help would be such a blessing for them during this time.
Pablo Blas serves his community as a police officer for the Lancaster County Sheriffs department, Occasionally volunteers at the McDonald green fire department and previously served as a police officer for the City of Lancaster. Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers during this difficult time! Please feel free to share Pablo’s go fund me! All donations will go to Taylor( Pablo’s fiancé) for all expenses.
