Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Supporters,

I, Steven Popielarski (Paul’s son), come to you today on behalf of Paul Popielarski and my family, Debra Popielarski (Paul’s wife) and Michael Popielarski (Paul’s son). We come to you with a heavy heart and an urgent plea for help. Our beloved husband and father, Paul, has been in the Surgical ICU since Monday, October 9th, and he is courageously fighting for his life each day. He has undergone many long complicated surgeries, and there are more to come.

Paul is facing unthinkable challenges as he battles to recover from severe injuries that nearly took his life away. The pain and uncertainty that he and my family are going through are beyond words, and we want to do everything in our power to support him during this incredibly tough time.

He now faces a long and challenging road to life and recovery. While we do not know all of the ways his life will change after this, we are certain that there will be significant changes to his lifestyle and quality of life.

Paul, a man with a heart of gold and an infectious sense of humor, has touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He's the person who brightens up any room he walks into with his silly humor and unwavering positivity.
