Paul Rucker's Family

Dear family and friends,

It is with great sadness we announce that Paul Rucker passed away on June 22, 2022. Paul fought hard to stay with his family, and he will be deeply missed by his wife Christina, and his kids, Josie and Owen. He will also be missed by the Mariemont community. The students and staff will miss joy and enthusiasm he brought to school every day. There was not a day that went by without Paul giving a friendly hello to everyone he walked past and encouraging the kids to do their best on and off the playground.

As a community I know we want to support the Rucker family. As the family moves forward, they are faced with the unfortunate financial hardships that are brought on with long term illness and the passing of their loved one. So, on behalf of the family, we are asking for donations through this GoFundMe page. Christina and the kids are so appreciative to be apart of such a loving, supportive community.

A memorial is planned for Saturday, July 30th, 10:00am-12:00pm at Cresta Park, 4033 Cresta Way, Sacramento, California.
