Vote for Paul Holmes - Time for Real Change
This is my fundraising page for my campaign to be the next general secretary of UNISON.
My campaign is distinctive from others because I am a lay member and a branch secretary. I do not have the resources and backing of some of the establishment candidates.
I am therefore relying on small donations from UNISON members to fund my campaign.
My campaign is a people-powered campaign, using contributions from UNISON members and activists of their time and skills.
But it is also very welcome if you can chip in a small amount to help fund my campaign, as there are inevitable and unavoidable expenses in running a campaign to be general secretary.
The rules around UNISON elections mean the following:
1. Only UNISON members can donate to my campaign
2. The maximum donation is £150 for any one individual.
I am not asking you for £150 however. If you can spare a couple of pounds or a fiver that would mean as much to me. I truly value your support, and will use any funding you can spare me to positively change our union for the better.
