Paula Hoemann - Medical Expenses

Our good friend, Paula Hoemann, has undergone breast cancer treatment these past few months. The lumpectomy and radiation treatments went well, and fortunately no chemotherapy is required.
Paula has persevered, and only missed a few weeks of work while enduring her surgery and treatments.
Even though Paula has "good" insurance benefits through her employment, she has reached the maximum out of pocket expenses, which is $7500 per calendar year. Because her treatments straddled two calendar years (2018/19), she has met the maximum out of pocket for both calendar years, meaning she owes $15,000 for medical expenses.
Thankfully, Paula is recovering and expecting renewed health soon!
Unfortunately, the stress of unpaid medical debt is weighing on her.
As her community we can help ease her stress by contributing to her medical fund.
