In March of 2020 I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer, I started treatment at the beginning of the global Covid 19 outbreak, after learning of my disease I also learned that I have breast cancer on both sides of my family tree! What this means for me is a double mastectomy.  I went through four rounds of chemo in hopes that it would shrink the tumor enough for surgery and unfortunately it did not shrink it enough, I start my next round of 10 weeks June 9th. This was unexpected and with the side affects I am already having I am scared I may not be able to work through it as planned.

I work in a state agency unable to go into work because of Covid I have been able to work from home but as chemo has progressed the side affects are limiting the amount of hours I can physically do my job and I am unsure at this point how much longer they will allow me to work from home.

Tony has also had to take a step back because I am not producing the red blood cells needed to help fight infections I am unable to risk anyone getting either of us sick.
On top of all of this we now have to move from the home we have lived in for four years, with the unexpected costs of moving  and everything from food to different medications not covered by insurance, it seems we have many more fires to put out.

We found a place and are hoping to move in July. We’ve been pretty lucky so far but are now trying to put finances together for appliances and the above mentioned items.
We are going through the motions. You may have seen the coloring books we sold. Also will be selling some of our personal items to make this happen.

Any help that we receive through this will be used for essential or medical items. Anything left over after we are established in the new house we will donate to a local charity.
We appreciate any consideration and are sorry to be asking for help like this when money for anyone is hard enough to come by.
