***UPDATE*** This morning our mom gained her wings.

All of our lives changed in just 5 short days. My mom came to the emergency room complaining of stomach pains and shortness of breath. We were told a day later that the doctors suspected stomach cancer, the diagnosis was not yet confirmed. Within days, her health started to decline rapidly. The medical team ordered some more scans and we received the heartbreaking news that it was worse than we had originally thought. It was stage 4 stomach cancer. Her cancer had already spread out of her stomach into her liver and her kidneys had already begun to fail. My mom is currently in hospice and I am writing this from her Hospice Room. With the unfortunate reality that she doesn’t have much time left on this Earth. Everyday is a struggle mentally and physically.

We recently discovered that my moms life insurance lapsed a while ago. As she nears the end of her road, our goal is to provide her a proper end of life celebration. I kindly invite you to show your love and support in the following ways:
