Friends are joining together to raise funds for Paulie.

Our dear friend, Paulie, is fighting a courageous but tough battle. He has stage 4 pancreatic cancer, which has aggressively metastasized. Cancer. A word associated with fear, sadness, anxiety, and uncertainty. We all know of someone, past or present, that has been affected by this evil disease.

Paulie is going through the unimaginable emotional, mental, and physical struggles that follow a cancer diagnosis. The treatment has been brutal, but he remains positive and hopeful as he faces each challenge. Even recovering from a recent COVID-19 episode that left him weak and tired. He is grateful for each day and prays for the strength to enjoy the upcoming holidays with family and friends.

However, Paulie has more on his mind other than his well-being. In addition to his current health condition, he and his wife are experiencing financial struggles. It seems wrong on so many levels that anyone coping with a terminal illness should spend precious moments worrying about living expenses, medical expenses, and even the unfortunate planning of funeral costs… an expense they admittingly cannot afford. These thoughts should not rob him of his time.

We want to do something special for our friend of 40 years. We want to show him that we love him. That we care about him. That he is not alone during these difficult days. That we want to help him now in the only way we can. We want to relieve him of one of his constant concerns.

Let's show him that through the generosity of family, friends and even strangers, he will indeed have the funeral he wishes for – surrounded by those who know and love him.
