Pauline and Rachel's zipwire for Autism Inclusive

 

 

 

I would love to raise some funding for this charity, as it is close to my heart. My husband, who is sadly no longer with us, my son and my grandson are all affected by ASD. In the past I have raised funds for the Autistic Society, funding was raised when travelling across the world to Indonesia aged 75 and a helicopter ride aged 77 and now the Zip Wire experience at 80. This is a small but worthy charity in need of help and my latest Zip Wire experience, together with my granddaughter, is to raise funds for them - Pauline

 

I am fortunate enough to volunteer for Autism Inclusive and can whole-heartedly say that the work they put in is so important to the lives of our service users. However, we are only a small charity and so we decided that as it is very close to our family for a number of reasons, that we should do something to help. My nan is an incredibly brave woman, and life has thrown many curveballs her way. Instead of letting them knock her down, she turns them back around on life and uses them as fuel to do bigger and better things! In the last 10 years she has travelled the four corners of the world alone, flown in a helicopter, shook hands with royalty, gotten her first tattoo, and now we're adding flying 8,000m through the air to that list at the grand age of 80!
