Pauline Bennett was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer

Hi my name is Janice and this fundraiser is for my baby sister, Pauline Bennett. Pauline is a beautiful, outgoing, adventurous, and courageous 43 year old woman. Pauline met, fell in love with and married her wife, Holly in 2020 and became a stepmom to 2 children. She is a full-time security supervisor, often working 60-80 hours per week. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dog Myla, cat Monkeyboy and numerous backyard chickens and ducks. She also enjoys building things (for example the coop for her chickens) and making improvements to her home which they have just purchased in February 2023.

In October 2023, Pauline went for what she thought was a normal gynecological exam. Unfortunately, the results came back abnormal and she was sent for a biopsy in January 2024.

On January 29, 2024, Pauline was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. So far she has had numerous doctor appointments, biopsy, LEEP surgery and an upcoming PETscan which will determine the actual stage of the cancer and the kind of treatment she will need going forward.

Pauline has already incurred over $2000 worth of medical bills and has only just started this health journey. With having to take time off from work for doctor appointments, transportation costs (her oncologist and cancer center is nearly an hour and a half away from her) for treatments and for future surgeries those bills will add up fast on top of the normal expenses for everyday things like mortgage payments, utilities and food… all while being without a normal paycheck. This fundraiser is to help lift some of the financial burden off Pauline and Holly's shoulders during this scary and tough time.
