Paulinea Hawkins’ Homecoming

this is her daughter, cassandra hawkins. i recently got a call a little after 5pm monday night about her assigning me as her emergency contact and that she was placed on oxygen and will need to be put under an induced coma for at least 3 days. i visited her monday night not knowing how sick she was, i was under the assumption she had a possibility of getting better. she didnt. my poppa and i went to visit her tuesday morning and they fully explained everything that was going on; that she was hanging on by a thread, that the only reason she was alive was bc of the antibiotics and machines keeping her alive. i got a call when we were had gotten home JUST AFTER VISITING HER that she had passed. everything failed her. she died of a blood infection that had been festering inside her body for 10yrs AND pneumonia. death is so unexpected and our finances were not in order for something this catastrophic to happen and need help raising the money for her cremation and viewing. she wanted to be cremated just like nana, just like her mom. i didnt know that she was sick. im so sorry our last conversation was an argument. we love you, your grandson sonny bear loves you, he will miss his GIGI, long live the strongest woman IK
