Pauline's Breast Cancer Fund
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
We wanted to let you know what's going on with Pauline's health and the reason we're creating a GoFundMe campaign...
When she went for her usual Bi-Annual Mammogram three weeks ago, her Doctor's discovered a disturbing abnormality. After two difficult biopsy procedures, back to back, she was given a Breast Cancer diagnosis (DCis), with immediate surgery as the only option.
Pauline has an appointment on Monday Sept 25th to have her Pre-Op work done, with a mastectomy scheduled for end of September, early October.
We are so grateful that her Doctor's have been monitoring these breast anomolies for over a year, and were able to move quickly to make sure that Pauline will be able to live a long and healthy life.
But after the surgery, she won't be able do any physical labor for two- three months, at minimum. As many of you know, she is a multi-talented, extremely hard-working person, as well as the primary bread-winner for our family. Most of her income is derived from very labor intensive work. Sherry is semi-retired, and does work part-time, but has limited options due to an injury sustained in 2010.
We need your help to get through the next three months and would be extremely grateful for any amount you may choose to contribute. We are usually very self sufficient, so asking for your support in this way feels awkward, but is necessary.
Much love and many thanks,
Pauline and Sherry Jo
