Paul’s Girls

Paul Mulcrone passed away suddenly November 30th at the age of 59.

Paul was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. He attended Br. Rice High School where he was an All American Athlete for Swimming and Water Polo. Paul played water polo for his father, the legendary “Moose” Mulcrone. After high school Paul went to Eastern Illinois University where he earned the title of captain of the swim team. Over Paul’s nursing career he has worked at Lurie Children’s Hospital and LaRabida Children’s Hospital. Both hospitals held a special place in Paul’s heart and soul. He loved caring for children.

The Mulcrone Family is quite sure that Moose is welcoming his oldest boy of 9 children with open arms in heaven while giving Paul a really hard time that he joined him too soon.

Grace (Paul’s daughter)in her most difficult moment, courageously and relentlessly tried to save his life by administering CPR until the paramedics arrived.

Grace is following in Paul’s footsteps and studying to be a pediatric nurse.

Paul’s pride and joy in life was his girl Grace.
