Paul's Support Fund

This is Christy, on behalf of Paul Steele.
My boyfriend, Paul Steele, is such a wonderful man! If you know him, you know this to be true. Paul recently had an accident and crushed his heel, broke his left wrist, suffered a fracture to his T4 vertebra, and fractures to his upper ribs at his sternum. Accompanying all that, he also broke his front tooth that he needs to be replaced with an implant and has a good size contusion to his left jaw. Along with many bumps, cuts and contusions as well. He just had surgery to his wrist and heel to place pins into the bones to hold them in place so that the injuries can heal properly. It's possible he will need surgery to his spine in the near future. His ribs will heal with time and rest.
Paul is a self employed finish carpenter and fell from a ladder while working for a client. His trade requires him to use his entire body very physically to perform his work, all day every day. Needless to say, he will not be able to return to work for quite some time. He is unable to walk, use his arm or hand, put any stress or weight on his back and with the rib fractures is unable to move around well at all. He is very much confind to a wheel chair right now to get to his medical appointments. It's devestating to see him like this, and he has been told by his doctors that it will be 12 week's before he can begin any sort of physical tharapy. He is very much confind to staying home!
Paul has been a very active person professionally. He had an additional job working nights as a maintenance man for a building here in Santa Barbara, as well as working days for personal clients as a Finish Carpenter. He has lost all ability to work, has had to give up his positions, and has had to give up his future carpentry projects.
He has no private insurance. And sadly, is running out of savings quickly. He will be out of work for quite some time and is losing his ability to pay his rent, equipment storage, medical, reabilitation costs, home utility costs, and so on... just regular day to day living. When I mentioned the GoFundMe site he said, "Oh sweetheart there are so many people, more deserving and in worse shape than me", so I decided to initiate this on his behalf.
He always does things for other people and rarely ever asks anyone for anything. I can't recall a time he has.
So... lets all be grateful that we are healthy, able to use our bodies, work, pay our bills, and provide for ourselves.
Please... any donation will help! Maybe you can afford a little, maybe you can afford more. Anything really would help Paul now, and your help would be truly appreciated!
Thank you all so very much !
Love and Blessings,
Christy
