Paulys Road to Recovery

2025 is REALLY not turning out to be Pauly's year!
The amount of goals and dreams that this man has with his BMX racing, and life in general, is honestly so admiring. The amount that I see him show up to help anybody who needs it. All the chats and time he gives to kids at the track, and how much he setting up to give back to the sport that he loves, is what makes him so deserving of some reciprocated help and support right now.

Pauly quit his mining job at the start of this year to continue to improve his mental health, to focus on stepping up as an accredited BMX coach and to 'enjoy' his day to day job building skate parks. He truly lives and breathes anything to do with BMX.

Unfortunately, after starting the year with a fractured heel. He has worked hard to return to the track and training on his path to represent Australia again at this year's World Championship. All was looking good for him, until Round 3 of WA Super Series event in Mandurah.

3rd moto of the day and he became victim to the 3rd straight. He has over manualed the double and looped out, slamming his back and head into the upramp of the next jump. Very scary to watch, as he was also briefly knocked unconscious. Xrays and CT scans at the hospital shows that he has broken BOTH scapulars.

I am coming to learn that this man does not do things by halves haha but, with the long road he has ahead of him. I am hoping that anybody who thinks as highly of him as I do, and is in the position to be able to, will be able to contribute to helping reduce any additional pressures and expenses for him and his 3 boys while he is unable to work.
