Pawprints of Care: Support Arthur's Recovery
Tax deductible
Thank you everyone for your positive words and well wishes for our sweet Arthur. After being called to the aid of a friendly cat laying near street, we noticed he was in pain and crying last night, so we took him to VEG Animal Hospital in Hoboken. His stomach was hard, so they decided to do an ultrasound and they discovered his bladder was very full. He was diagnosed with a urinary blockage. The doctor said his vitals were strong, and blood work showed his kidney levels were not too elevated. They said the chances of him making it through surgery are very good . This is a friendly house cat that we believe was abandoned since nobody has come claimed or reported him missing. He is estimated to be 2 to 3 years old and is FIV / FELV negative. Our rescue could not leave him in pain and look away! He is very sweet and friendly and deserves a chance to be loved and cared for!
