Paws Off My Booty!: Rescue Judy From Raccoon Raiders!
Donation protected
My name is Antonio Alvarado, and I’m reaching out to you to help a stray cat named Big Booty Judy. She’s not just any stray cat; she’s the highlight of my day, greeting me every time I come back home, waiting on the porch. She's got a booty that's as big as her heart and she needs your help to recover from a severe leg injury and get the care she desperately needs.
Big Booty Judy (How she got her name is mentioned further below):
Big Booty Judy’s Story:
Early Saturday morning, June 1st, at around 1:32 AM, I noticed a raccoon approaching Judy's little house on the front porch, which seemed to startle her. In her scramble to escape, I believe she managed to injure her hind leg when the raccoon chased after her. Later, my friends and I reviewed the footage from my Ring camera and saw her limping on her injured leg. I also noticed the next day some of the front paw claws look detached or broken, which I assume is very painful. I tried to get pictures of her paw but she won't even let me touch them. The raccoons tried to take over the Big Booty Queen, but her big booty swag was too much for them to handle.
*Raccoon before entering her little box house*, the ring camera does not cover the entrance very well to her little house so I can't see it enter nor can I see her run out of it. 3 total raccoons now come every night and force her to leave her house!
Here’s a short video of Judy limping the day after:
Urgent Need for Medical Attention/Usage of Funds:
Judy urgently needs to see a vet to assess her injury and get proper treatment. Here are the estimated costs for her medical care from the vet:
Initial veterinary consultation: $50 - $100
X-rays for her leg injury: $150 - $250
Treatment for the broken leg: $300 - $2,000 (hopefully not $2,000)
-This is the main concern/focus
Pain medication and follow-up visits: ~$100
Flea treatment: $20 - $50
Deworming treatment: $20 - $50
Virus tests: ~$70 each
Core vaccinations (rabies): ~$50
While she may already have some of these vaccines, I am not certain and want to ensure she gets all the necessary care.
Why your help is important to me:
If I were to surrender Judy as a stray cat, the vet informed me that they would take her to another location and would not disclose her whereabouts to me. This means I might never see her again. To continue seeing Big Booty Judy, I need to be financially responsible for her medical treatment and future care. Your support is essential to ensure Judy remains safe and healthy while staying close to the home she knows.
Her Additional Needs:
Aside from her medical needs, I want to provide Judy with a proper, stable house to replace her current cardboard box shelter. Unfortunately, I cannot bring her inside permanently as my roommate already has a cat, and introducing a second cat might create tension.
How she got her name:
When the cat appeared beside me just as the name "Big Booty Judy" was mentioned on the Maury Show, it felt like fate. From that day on, calling her by that name just seemed right, and funny. She has been a cherished part of my life ever since.
How You Can Help:
Your generous donation will go directly towards Judy’s medical expenses and care needs. Any remaining funds will be used to purchase a much bigger, more stable, and comfortable house for her. Every little bit helps and gets us one step closer to ensuring Judy receives the care and comfort she deserves.
Transparency and updates:
I will provide regular updates on Judy’s progress and how the funds are being utilized. Your support means the world to us. Every small contribution will help us both! If more money is left over, I will be more than happy to donate the rest to other charities related to helping others and their furry friends.
Thank You!:
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read Big Booty Judy’s story and for any support you can offer. Together, we can make a huge difference in this brave cat’s life!
