PAWSITIVE IMPACT - Christmas Gifts for Homeless Kitties

Hi everyone, I am Iggy - I love supporting various social initiatives as the ones that can make a difference are us. This year I have decided to help a local cat shelter. This has happened after I have visited them and got to see how they are barely holding up. The cats don't really even have toys as the shelter is heavily focused on trying to gather enough food.

Help Gift Joy to Kittens in Need This Holiday Season!

This holiday season, you have the chance to give the purrfect gift — not just to your loved ones, but to kittens in need! We, of course, would love a simple donation if you just want to help too. I’m partnering with a shelter in my hometown of Panevezys, Lithuania, where over 100 cats are cared for at any given time. Many of these cats have been rescued from the brink of death and are recovering from injuries.

Why is it important?

The shelter’s founder is a true hero, working tirelessly with her day job to care for these cats, but donations alone don’t cover all their needs. The government does not offer any funding and therefore the shelter relies on donations, volunteers to help care for the kittens and the general kindness of people.

PUMA has got 3 locations (1 small one owned and 2 rentals) and one of them is not even properly insulated, burning a hole through their pocket with heating bills. Mind it is pretty freezing in Lithuania in winter.

I am only trying to raise funds for food, but please share the message with others as the shelter could really use extra space to be able to accept more cats. As you will see from the video, they can have as many as 15 cats in each small room.

Any donation of £20 or over will receive a video of a gift with a name you have provided being delivered to the cats as well as the kittens enjoying whats inside. You can use this feature to gift on behalf of someone else and send the video as a gift on Christmas morning - equally purrfect for your cat lover friends that might be far away from you this season. Please include the name of the person the gift is from and any details you might like - e.g. “Buy the kittens some fresh salmon and a toy” - do not forget to include where to send the video if you want one!
