Family devastated Pawtuxet river flooding

Hi my name is Kiara & on 12/19/23 the Pawtuxet River at the end of my street rose and flooded throughout my basement leaving us with a massive loss of our belongings , no heat , no hot water. I had my eyebrow waxing business things and they’re all gone down to the bed meaning I can’t take client’s and all supply’s must be replaced that took me a while to build up. Washer machine & dryer clothes for my kids tvs etc even documents were lost. Officials have said there was nothing they can do about it until the river discontinued cresting. This had happened back in 2010 but I only have a year living here and had no idea about the area. The water is most likely contaminated as well. I’m asking for help not only for recuperating belongings but most importantly getting a cleaning company to make sure we are safe from any life threatening bacteria. Everything must be thrown out as well and with the holidays around the corner this has devastated my family and kids. We haven’t slept watching the basement rise and we even became sick overnight from the cold anything helps even a prayer Thankyou in advance
