Paxton the Prairie Dog medical bills and care

We need your support for Paxton, a resilient 6.5 year old prairie dog who has endured a lot. Paxton's journey began when we discovered he was neglected and suffering from a severe bacterial infection. Tragically, the pain led Paxton to self-mutilate, resulting in the loss of his hand. His previous owner neglected his dire condition for over a week, compelling us to intervene.

Upon rescuing Paxton, we immediately sought veterinary care. Unfortunately, to fully eradicate the infection, the vets had to amputate his little arm. Now, Paxton faces a long road to recovery, including weekly vet visits for ongoing care and treatments like cold laser therapy to aid inflammation and healing.
