Paxton's Memorial Fund

Our world was shattered on February 24th, 2019. Paxton was rushed to Children's National Hospital with injuries supposedly caused by a fall at the babysitter's home. Once he arrived and was stabilized, we were advised his skull was fractured and it wasn't caused from a fall. Due to the injuries sustained, his brain began to swell and he was put on a ventilator. We were informed that he was unlikely to recover, yet we kept the faith that our little guy would pull through. The authorities were called, given all of his test results and made aware that this wasn't an accidental fall, yet an intentional attack. After a full investigation, we were made aware that an 11 year old girl with severe anger issues was left alone with Paxton. The mother left the home and the girl struck him with an object which caused his injuries. We are hurt, shocked and confused by this chain of events. On Feb 26th, we was advised that Paxton was unresponsive and there was nothing more that could be done to medically help him. The pain caused to our family is unspeakable, he was a happy, energetic and loved little boy that just turned one on February 8th. Unfortunately, his life was snatched away so suddenly, we thought we had more time with him and had yet to get burial insurance. This is one of the hardest things to have to endure and be unsure how the burial will be covered. My sister is coping to the best of her ability with this tragedy. I am creating
this account to ask that if you can find it in your heart to make a donation to assist with Paxton's memorial. Our little guy was taken from us in the absolute worst way, and we hope that his story will bring awareness to child on child crimes.
