Destiny's Circus School Tuition

Hello Hello!

My name is Destiny Rae Thompson, I am fundraising to help pay for my Aerial Circus School tuition!

I have been practicing aerial for a little over two years; studying a variety of apparatuses such as Lyra, Trapeze, and Silks! I have found so much love for this art form and the community it creates. My first time in the air, I knew this was something I wanted to do forever- and professionally if that was even an option??!

This year I am taking steps to make that dream a reality! I joined A-WOL dance collective Adult Pre-Professional Training Program where I am training 5-6 days a week 2-3 hours a day with 8 other talented aerialists.

Getting into this program- and all of the training I've done so far- has been so rewarding. I am already so grateful for the strength, endurance, and skill I have gained from committing to this intense training.

Along with all of the good of this training- has also come burnout, soreness, chiropractor appointments, PT, and much more financial hardship than I was ready for as a working full time, training full time, 22 year old living in a major city.

I want to be able to give this program my all, and this has proved difficult when I am struggling to pay tuition, bills, and feed myself healthily 3 (or more) times a day.

This is why I am asking for help! Any support provided will go directly to my tution for this 10 month program.

I hope putting this out there helps me feel less overwhelmed in this journey. Any financial support will actively help me stay in this program as well as aid me in taking care of my mind and body during this process.
