Help me pay for bills and provide mental relief.

Hello, my name is Pavel Miranda, and am fundraising to pay for numerous hospital bills which can provide me with some mental relief throughout these tough times I am now crossing paths with.

I am a Spanish teacher from Colombia and has served the USA as such in SC, NC and now Manassas, VA. I define myself as a passionate teacher.

I have a beautiful family of four, love cooking, salsa music and tropical music in general. They've been my 100% support right now at home and as a person, specially my wife Fanny, OMG, the best woman in the world!

I am a cancer survivor, which I beat back on October 7th, 2020, when got stomach cancer surgery. My Dr.'s hands are miraculous!!

Everything went well since then, up to a few days before embarking into a new instructional adventure here in VA, when I presented a sudden biliary duct obstruction which gave me the jaundice. My Drs. in Colombia came up with a drain to help redirect the bilirubin so it wouldn't build up in my body. I have been with the drain since then.

The treatment I have had to relieve this situation has been long and painful both at the Prince William Hospital and now full-time at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute en Fairfax, VA, which is a few miles from where I live. I had expected to have surgery for the obstruction but hasn't been easy because I have lost several pounds and I need to gain some in order for that to be a possibility.

Nowadays, my Drs think that my original cancer is present somewhere via methastasis. That's been really appalling and hard for me to put up with. I love my life, my family, my job and everything around me. It is not easy to open up like this and let everyone around me to learn about my personal situation, but I am taking a risk to fundraise because the bills are totaling up and "attacking" into the 5 figures...
