pay for Loki’s final vet bills

Hi, my name is Suzie and I’m raising funds to pay for our Siamese cat Loki’s final vet bill. It has taken me a bit to create this account, but on June 22nd we lost another family member. Loki, who was 15 years old. He got his rear leg stuck in a chair and couldn’t get it out - he was like that all day . When I couldn’t find him at supper time I knew something was wrong. When I finally found him he was stuck in an old office chair his leg was really bad. We took him to the emergency clinic and after X-rays found not only was his leg broken but there was severe tendon damage and they were going to need to amputate his leg. This would be major surgery and a hard recovery for a 15 year old cat who was also 15 pounds, not to mention the expense. We decided to leave him there overnight and then see what his test results said in the morning. Turns out Loki had a weird spot on his bone in that leg and it turned out to be cancer. We took him home to spend his last few hours with him in a calm and loving setting. We chose to have the vet come to our house to put him down - he was surrounded by love and died peacefully in my daughters arms. When we first got Loki he spent his first 10 years as a real scaredy cat. When we moved to Wyoming we adopted a mother and daughter that adopted us. Loki suddenly became their protector and their patriarch. He loved them and they loved him. We will miss that sweet boy very much! Now that he’s gone we still have the vet bill to pay - any help you can give would be great! It’s just me and my daughter and things are tight. Bless you!
