Help pay for appendectomy and resulting infection.

Hello, my name is Miguel but my friends call me Miggy. I’ll be brief. On June 15th, I was rushed to the ER because I had severe pain where my appendix was, that same night they operated on me. The surgeon afterwards tells me it was surprising because it had actually ruptured with less than 24 hours of symptoms. I stayed in the hospital for three days and then was discharged feeling great. On the third day of my discharge, everything went South. We rushed back to the ER and it turns out the bacteria from my ruptured appendix was resistant to oral antibiotics and it had infected the blood in a hematoma that developed in my abdomen at the site of the surgery. Over a liter of infected blood sat in there.

That was June 21st, and I have been here ever since. I had my birthday here. I had another surgery to have it drained and the IV antibiotics are doing their job.

I ask that you help me with any possible amount you can spare, I’m working on getting insurance and the hospital is doing it’s best to help me out too but I haven’t worked for over 2 weeks, disability will take far too long to help, and the cost of the hospital and the medications will swallow me up. Please help.
