Help Pay For Pete's Medical Bills
Donation protected
Pete, the little one pictured, is being trained to work with his new best buddy Moose. They have the job of goose control at Blue Hills Country Club, but sadly Pete almost didn't make it past training before catching Parvo. Parvo is a highly contagious viral disease that infects puppies and has a 91% mortality rate in untreated cases. Pete was fortunate that his owner and Second Assistant Golf Course Superintendent Ryan Boman was quick to act and get him to an emergency vet. Pete didn't have it easy though, needing to spend over 10 days under constant watch by vets before he was finally well enough to go home. Those 10 days were rough, with Pete feeling better one day and the next not having enough energy to lift his head. Ryan may not have had Parvo, but he did endure every up and down, asking the vets to do whatever they had to do to help Pete make it through. Ryan is now left with a costly bill for his care, and any help would be greatly appreciated. He would never ask himself, and if he knew that others were asking on his behalf, he would have too much pride to allow it, but that is one of the reasons he is so deserving of a hand. Pete is now back to work with Moose out on the golf course helping you have a goose free round, be sure to say hi to them both, and if you do donate to his medical bills, both he and Ryan won't soon forget the generosity that has been afforded to them.
