Help pay for Suki’s surgery & life saving efforts

On the evening of February 24, my dear friend Ixchel was walking her french bulldog, Suki, when a loose dog attacked her and dragged her under a car to maul her. Ixchel fought the dog and did her best to pull it off, but damage was done and Suki had deep lacerations near her chest/armpit area. She was rushed to an emergency vet where they were able to stabilize her and start surgery. Unfortunately during surgery, Suki developed pneumonia and is currently be held on oxygen and a nebulizar as she is unable to breathe on her own.

Because she is a brachycephalic (flat-faced) dog, she had to be anesthetized over sedated which is much more costly, and the vets continue to call asking to charge more with each unfortunate update.

Ixchel is recently moved home to the Bay Area and still getting her footing. Suki is 9 years old and the sweetest, most gentle little dog and did not deserve to be the victim of such aggressive brutality. Any donation would alleviate some of the financial stress being added to an already incredibly traumatic experience.
