Sydney's astronomical hospital bill

Hello. Our precious dog Sydney suddenly got very sick and ended up in the hospital for 6 days with pancreatitis and diabetes. It all happened so fast and when the doctor said this is a common ailment that they have treated before, we agreed to proceed. Not in our wildest dreams did we expect the bill to be so high.

We are both retired and on a limited income. Sydney is the first dog either of us have owned and she means the world to us.

Here is our baby now with her shaved spots from the hospital and her diabetic sensor (only lasts 2 weeks at a cost of $114 plus tax per sensor).
