Pay It Forward The Emily Robison Family

I am overwhelmed with the amount of community support Emily, Eric, and Carmen have received during the last month and the love so many have shown by “Paying Life Forward” to this family. The items on their “PayIt Forward” baby registry at Amazon, Target, and Babylist.com are all nearly gifted! Coronavirus has changed our lives in so many ways but I hope stories like Emily’s and the reason she endured all she had is God’s purpose in saving other pregnant mama’s lives by choosing to vaccinate and/or taking every measure to protect themselves and their families from this virus. If you would please consider donating to this fund to support baby Carmen and ease Eric’s financial burden of being a single father. No gifted donation will ever be too small.

 

My wife, Emily Robison was admitted to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas on August 18, 2021 with Covid-19 pneumonia. On August 25th, she gave birth via an emergent c-section to our beautiful 29 week old baby girl, Carmen. She weighed 2 pounds, 9 ounces at birth and by God’s grace is perfectly healthy. After battling Covid-19 for five weeks and being in a medically induced coma, Emily’s body could no longer fight. At 22 years old she died on September 20th. I will never forget how truly amazing she was. Vaccinated or not, please take Covid seriously.  Had we, Emily would still be here. Thank you for the outpouring of love everyone in this community has shown me and to all the nurses who cared for Emily and are caring for Carmen. I will never forget any of you for the rest of my life. -Eric
