Pay It Forward With Friendship will be producing an Equity Showcase production of the amazing new play, 1-2-3 MANHUNT, by Tony DiMurro in conjunction with THEATER FOR THE NEW CITY in New York City opening April 9, 2020.
Lifelong friends Joel Kolker and William Roudebush are producing the original new play, 1-2-3 MANHUNT by Tony DiMurro, about a childhood game of “Hide n’ Seek” played on the tenement rooftops of the Lower East side of Manhattan.
The stakes are very high and the risks are even higher. To survive a deep understanding of self, trust, and the faith to risk everything by standing up for one’s self, one’s friends, and refusing defeat at all costs, and against all odds.
Both Kolker and Roudebush have long established careers in the Theater Arts with writing, directing, producing, and acting. The two have reached out to THEATER FOR THE NEW CITY (Winner of 41 Obie awards) in New York City to collaborate on this unique and relevant project.
To Pay It Forward, Kolker and Roudebush are donating their entire share of the box office receipts from this 15- performance showcase run to the local Manhattan chapter of the BIG BROTHERS/BIG SISTERS Organization. This will enable them to pass it along to a youngster who needs a friend to stand up for them…and on…and on, for generations to come.
Your tax-deductible donation to THEATER FOR THE NEW CITY must be ear-marked specifically for the production of 1-2-3 MANHUNT to ensure the funds go to this production exclusively. This is super important!
So become a part of Pay It Forward With Friendship because your donation will benefit a play that inspires friendships and, most importantly, pays it forward!
All donors will be listed in the showcase program under one category: FRIENDS YOU CAN COUNT ON.
