Pay Mike's Hospital Bills, Bills, Bills!

I'm gonna skip the part where I say I'm embarrassed to be doing this, because this is how we survive under a capitalist hellscape in a country that thinks healthcare should be for profit.

Anyhoo! Our beloved Mike Jones started having seizures on his 36th birthday, May 19th, 2023. He was out of town visiting his family in Georgia, and so went to an out-of-network hospital, as the seizure made him fall down the stairs in his parents' two-story home.

About a month later in June, the same thing happened. Mike had 3 grand mal seizures within hours of each other with no apparent trigger. He had a two-day hospital stay, during which we found out he now has focal epilepsy and will be taking pills everyday (likely) for the rest of his life. We're not sure why this happened, and it sucks! Mike is also a cancer survivor, we have two daughters, we recently lost a job, AND we have a golden retriever who deserves the world (and a cat who deserves to also be fed I guess)! Suffice to say, this all blows.

The bills are now starting to roll in and pile up from the hospital visits. Seizure meds are super expensive too - Google it! I, Anna, am doing my best to keep my head above water and pay all of our bills, work full-time, and take care of the girlies, and try not to have a nervous breakdown. We are currently -$500-ish in our joint checking - anything helps us pay bills, buy food, etc. etc. You know how it goes.

I don't know how much everything will ultimately end up being, so I'm putting in a number into the GoFundMe that would be awesome if we hit, but really truly anything helps! $10 would buy me coffee, and I would cry!
