School Lunch Debt Pay-Off Galveston

Hungry children have difficulty focusing and comprehending.  Too often, GISD school children skip lunch because their parents cannot afford to pay off outstanding balances in our school cafeterias.  As of February 9, 2017, that outstanding balance was close to $1000.00.  This fund is to help pay off that balance so that children can eat breakfast and/or lunch, improving their chances of being successful learners in our classrooms.

Funds raised by this campaign will be given to the Galveston ISD Child Nutrition Program to pay off outstanding balances.
