Hi,

I am deeply saddened and heartbroken to announce the sudden and tragic passing of Ivan Ortiz. I wanted to create this GoFundMe to help his amazing 3 boys.

For those of you like myself that had the privilege of knowing Ivan would say he was a gentle giant. Ivan Ortiz was a great Meat Manager on my team at Safeway and I was lucky to have him part of my Safeway family. He is a great man, a great friend with a big heart. He was a even greater father to three amazing boys that were his entire life

Ivan Ortiz had 3 boys that were his world. On every occasion I spent with Ivan he would always tal about his love for his boys. His three boys are Zaiden Ortiz 18, Izaac Ortiz 11, and Ivan Ortiz II.

I was very fortunate to have the privilege of being Ivan’s Boss but most importantly his friend for many years and lucky to be part of his life. He was a amazing man with a old soul and a big heart. Please have his boys and his family in your prayers during this difficult time.

These donations through in its entirety will benefit his boys through this very difficult time.
