Paying It Forward Donations

Building Book Booths for Book Donations from the company I work for, West Broadway Distribution Services. The types of titles we distribute range from coloring books to Disney cookbooks and everything in between.

We recycle so many books due to the recall of titles from the stores we distribute to and for. Once the title is recalled or discontinued, we no longer have use for them and have to move them out of our warehouse to enable room for more. .I believe that my purpose in life is to help others. Although the paper part of these titles are recycled, it pains me to watch huge boxes of books being sent to be "destroyed" in a sense when there are other things that can be done with them such as donating them so I came up with a solution. Use the Little Free Library's that are around the city. But, because my project will include an abudance of books, I looked into building my own Free Little Library's. The problem with that is I am going to be building quite a few of these and the Little Free Library suppliers want $40 per placard. That is $40 just to use their name. If I build 10, that is $400!

I decided to make my own and I am calling them my Donation Book Booths. They will be wherever they are needed and if anyone would like to build one and use Donation Book Booths name, I am perfectly fine with that. I will even supply the placard for $0. This is a 100% Non-Profit Project. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO BUILDING DONATION BOOK BOOTHS. Along with the Books, I will be collecting gently used or new winter clothing, shoes, non-perishable food items, and more.

There is nothing more heartwarming than to see a person or family having what they need because of someone who truly cares. I am asking for your help to get these Book Booths built and placed before the summer is over. It is a great pleasure to be able to do this for those in need. I am asking for nothing except the help of my community and others.

Humility and Integrity are so very important to the way we interact with each other. From my point of view, seems like the World needs a bit more of it. Humans seem to be forgetting what humanity means. World Peace is something I wish for, for all of Humanity. There are so many opportunities for people to help other people and to do so with integrity but very seldomly do we see or hear of a random act of kindness, not something to be recognized for, but something that is genuine and comes from the heart. Because of the Values instilled in my heart and soul, I am taking advantage of this opportunity.

This project will help the many families that cannot afford to go buy books and are not able to get to a library because of distance and inconvenience. I believe that my purpose in life is to make a difference in other peoples' lives and I am up for the challenge.

I feel it is essential to pull away from screen time,  there is so much that draws people in. All of the hours spent staring at a screen is not good for posture, your eyes, and even social cues.
